The Victoria Symphony is debuting the Poulenc Organ Concerto featuring Donald Hunt, the Director of Music at Christ Church Cathedral in Victoria, BC performing the Concerto on the Helmut Wolff & Associés Ltée, Op 47 (2005) Organ at Christ Church. Included with the concert are program notes, a pre-concert talk and details of Donald Hunt and the Victoria Symphony.

This program is offered complimentarily to view and will be online until May 28, 2021.

When: April 29th @ 7:30PM (PT)

PROGRAM & MORE INFORMATION

Bach Festival presents a unique digital Bach Gala, featuring highlights from Festival Bach Montréal’s 2020 season, and the generous participation of Yo-Yo Ma and Kent Nagano. The concert, of about 80 minutes in length, will be broadcast at 2.30pm on 2 May 2021, and will only be available at that time. No replay is planned.

Concert Tickets are available at $15, $30 or $100. All proceeds from the Gala will go to the musicians involved

Nicholas Capozzoli (2017 CIOC 3rd-Prize winner) performed Edward Elgar's Nimrod (from the Enigma Variations) in homage to E. Noël Spinelli, C.M., C.Q., on CIOC’s brand new Bach-Mobile.
Take a look at the final concert of the 2020 Virtual Organ Festival from October 29th. Terry Riley's In C(IOC) joined in performance by a virtual organ choir of friends of CIOC!

In order to ensure our programming is easily accessible to as many people as possible, we have decided to make all of our digital content available free of charge.
