Drivers of both vehicles died at the scene. Four in all have died, including two children.

OTTAWA COUNTY, Okla. — Friday evening at 8:42 PM reports of a head-on crash near the state line south of Baxter Springs, Kansas, summoned multiple EMS units from Quapaw Nation and Quapaw Fire.

The crash was located on Ottawa County 3.5 miles north of Quapaw on US-69/US-66 about 100 yards southwest of intersection North S630 Road/E16th Road.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol tell us on the scene they will be continuing their investigation through the night. The roadway was cleared to all lanes of traffic just before midnight. The head-on crash occurred at 8:42 PM, involving two vehicles, pavement was wet and rain was falling.

Charlsee Eberly, 30, of Miami, Oklahoma, was the lone occupant, driving a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. She was pronounced at the scene by Quapaw Nation EMS.

Kaitlyn Kibel, 28, of Quapaw, Oklahoma, was driving a 2016 Nissan Rogue. She was pronounced at the scene by Quapaw Nation EMS.

There were five juvenile passengers in the Kibel vehicle. Two did not survive. (All juvenile names are withheld as per normal policy of OHP)
• Female, 7, of Miami, Oklahoma, transported to Freeman West at Joplin, Missouri, and pronounced a short time later.
• Male, 10, of Quapaw, Oklahoma, pronounced at the scene by Quapaw Nation EMS.
• Male, 3, of Miami, Oklahoma, transported to Freeman West at Joplin, Missouri, in stable condition.
• Male, 7, of Quapaw, Oklahoma, transported to Freeman West at Joplin, Missouri, in stable condition.
• Male, 5, of Miami, Oklahoma, transported to Freeman West at Joplin, Missouri, in stable condition.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation according to Trooper D. Greninger of the Ottawa County Detachment of Troop L.
