HOW WILL THE CLASS WORK?
CLASSES WILL BE HELD ON ZOOM

This course will be designed to cover all SAT content, based on the standards provided by CollegeBoard.

This content review will be done using Powerpoints as well as guided practice (A digital whiteboard will be used to work out problems for the class)

Homework problems will be assigned every class (designed for the unit taught that class)

Polls will be used on Zoom during class to assess students on practice problems

Answer Keys with explanations/work will also be provided for all homework problems

Guided practice will be the main tool used to ensure students learn and master SAT topics. This practice will consist of real SAT questions from previous years.

Students are highly encouraged to ask questions throughout the class (students can ask questions anonymously in Zoom's private chat if they wish).

PRIVATE TUTORING: We will be available for questions after class or by text/call, however, we offer private tutoring sessions free of charge if requested. Our main goal is to help and spread our knowledge as much as possible.

Having mastered the SAT over the past 4 years and receiving top 1% scores, we are highly qualified to teach all that we have learned, including tips and tricks that many prep books do not cover. In addition to reading various prep books, we have attended many SAT Prep Courses (i.e. Princeton Review, Kaplan, etc.) and know what methods work and don’t work when studying for the SAT.

Also, we have previously conducted 2 full-length SAT courses and achieved an average score increase of 204 points. We would like to expand this help to students in need of SAT instruction. Both of us started with a much lower score compared to our final score, and through this course, we believe that we can increase any student’s score, regardless of their starting point, through the various tips and tricks we've learned over the years.

The national average cost of SAT tutoring is $70/hr; however, our comprehensive course is roughly $14/hr. Our main purpose is to help high school students significantly raise their SAT scores at an affordable rate, which is why we made our course as cost-friendly as possible.

We realize that many colleges have gone "test-optional" for 2022; however, having a high SAT score will allow a student to stand out academically and increase their chances of admission.
​
Unlike big corporations such as Princeton Review and Kaplan, our course is taught by students who have recently been through the process of studying for the SAT. This course will not be a one-way teaching experience, but rather an interactive course that adapts to students’ needs.
