A man suspected in a double shooting was struck and killed by a MARC train early Monday morning in Lanham, Md. according to the Howard County Police Department.

Police said 52-year-old Jacinto Del Prado's death is believed to be an apparent suicide. Officers had an arrest warrant for Del Prado for a shooting that left 44-year-old Chad Dewayne Daniel dead and 57-year-old Warren Anthony Weeden seriously injured at a truck stop on Assateague Drive in Jessup, Md. on Sunday afternoon. Police said Weeden was later transported to Shock Trauma and is in stable condition.

According to Howard County Police, investigators believe Del Prado went to the truck stop to confront a man about a domestic issue, but police said they believe Daniel and Weeden may have been shot in a case of mistaken identity. Police said the case is under investigation.

Monday's police activity led to limited train service between Washington and Baltimore, according to Amtrak.
