【ESF Assembly Showcase】
Another week of learning and adventure – Join us to see what extraordinary events await!
🏕 Over 500 students and staff from 9 ESF Schools participated in the first annual camp after a 4-year break! Organised by the Silver Jubilee Group, the English-speaking scout group in Hong Kong, campers navigated themselves through an array of survival activities, from first aid training campfires and night hikes to Masterchef competition, high ropes course, bridge building and water fight!
🌐 Hosted by ESF Clearwater Bay School, The Kowloon Kids Conference was an absolute blast! This technology conference provided Y6 Teach leaders from each school a platform to showcase their technological learning journeys, featuring a diverse range of cutting-edge technologies, including Robotics Coding, AI, 3D design with CoSpaces, and even 3D scanning – nothing short of an excitement that sparked innovative young minds!
🌎 ESF South Island School successfully hosted its second Model United Nations (MUN) conference! Over 2 days, 70 students from 9 different schools around Hong Kong actively participated in thought-provoking debates and collaborations that harmoniously devised effective solutions. They delved into diverse roles to address global issues and navigate politics.
🏃ESF Wu Kai Sha International Kindergarten students have been practising hard as they prepare themselves for sports day. At a young age, they learnt to observe the changes to their body when they exercise and discussed the relationship between exercising and how the world works!
🧠 At ESF Sha Tin College, over 20 Y10 and Y12 students completed the Peer Supporter Programme run by their Wellbeing Team. A 9-week peer-to-peer support initiative, the training developed their understanding of verbal and nonverbal cues, enhanced empathic listening skills, taught appropriate questioning techniques, and guided giving and receiving feedback in counselling. What a way to support students' mental health and well-being, creating accessibility and a safe space for the school community!
