Abhay Ki Love Story (Part 6) - Naina's Feelings

Shree Krishna told Arjuna during the battle of Mahabharata - "Arjuna, life is all about balance. Too much or too less both are bad. A 'Muni' is a person who stays the same in the face of prosperity and doom; happiness and sadness; gain and loss. He is the same irrespective of the situations he is in." That is a basic truth of life. 

In relationships, especially during the initial stages of Love, it so happens that we focus on only one person and at times forget about our mission(s) in life. Abhay had just started to behave the same way. It was time God reminded him of his spirituality.

Just after the photo-shoot, Abhay went for a bath. By the time he came out, it was 8:17. Naina was sitting idle, lost in thoughts. Her face read of confusion and guilt!

She had also packed her bags. Abhay was taken aback. He went to her and asked her about what was worrying her. She said, "I don't know what I am doing. I should have not come here."

"What will people think of me? I stayed in a hotel with a boy!", she continued. Abhay wasn't able to understand what had happened in a few minutes. 

"But we did not do anything wrong, did we?" asked Abhay.

"Yes, but people won't see it that way", said Naina.

"Since when do you care about what other people think?", Abhay asked.

"Not other people, but what about my parents? Am I not breaking their trust? Oh God! I am so confused!", Naina seemed to be talking to herself.

Abhay said, "You know I want to marry you, so I don't understand what is the problem?"

"But I can't marry you.", said Naina. The look in Abhay's eyes changed. He was angry and hurt. 

"Why?", the only word that he could say at the same.

"Because I will marry only if my parent's give their permission and also because I love someone else", replied Naina.

"If you loved someone else, why did you tell me that you loved me?", a furious Abhay asked. 

"I never said I loved you, it's you have been saying it", Naina was quick to respond.

"Then why did you come to meet me, and what was it all about it - the past two days? The kiss? Don't they mean anything to you?", Abhay started shooting questions.

"That's why I said I shouldn't have come, I love Utkarsh and he loves me too. He is working in Pune", Naina said without any expression in her face.

Abhay was speechless. Naina had mentioned Utkarsh a few times previously, but Abhay didn't take it seriously. He thought she was just teasing him. This was too much for him to handle. He didn't want to travel this road as he knew where it lead. Whenever Abhay faced such difficult or heart-breaking situations, his head would start aching, he would feel weak and go to bed to sleep. He did the same this time, without even saying a word.

Naina got a call and started talking. Abhay didn't even bother to overhear the conversation.

After about 45 minutes, Naina came to Abhay, and very lovingly tried to wake him up. Abhay asked her not to disturb. She didn't give in this time. She apologized and asked him to get up. It was time for her to leave.

Abhay reluctantly got up and tried to stop her. He asked her to be with him for one more day. She refused. 

She then said, "I respect and care for you but I don't love you. I just couldn't resist you because you love me unconditionally. I just couldn't control myself."

She then held Abhay's face in her arms...

and kissed him on his cheeks. "I am going now, bye", she whispered.

Abhay, drew her closer and kissed her on her lips.

"I don't believe that you don't love me. And I don't believe that you love someone else, Utkarsh or whatever the name is. I don't know what made you say that, but its not true. You're lying for some reason.", said Abhay confidently.

"Believe what you want Abhay, but this was the last time we met. I won't meet you ever again.", she declared.

After that, Naina left...
