Join Friends of Competency Collaborative interest group here.
Competency Collaborative (formerly Mastery Collaborative) is a community of 75+ K-12 public schools across the 5 boroughs of New York City  that choose to reach toward equity using culturally responsive-sustaining and competency-based education principles, practices, and policies. Our small program team is part of the NYC Department of Education's Division of Teaching and Learning.

Please use this form to register yourself, your school, or your organization for Friends of Competency Collaborative (CC), our opt-in interest group for NYC public school educators.

Friends of CC is a way to stay connected and have access to many CC offerings. Friends of CC have a 100% opt-in connection to the CC community. They receive no funding from the CC program.

Our Friends of CC interest group may be a good fit for PUBLIC SCHOOL educators/schools who want to explore mastery-based and culturally responsive-sustaining education practices in a low-stakes, opt-in way. Friends of CC receive our newsletter and can opt in for some professional learning opportunities such as intro sessions and our yearly Summer Institute in July.

We look forward to exploring the power of youth-centered, competency-based, culturally responsive-sustaining teaching, learning, grading, and school culture-- with you! Thanks for your interest.
