President Trump,

The chilling documentary "A Brilliant Genocide" exposes how for three decades, successive U.S. administrations have supported a Mass Killer --  Uganda's brutal dictator Gen. Yoweri Museveni with over $21 billion in financial and military assistance since 1986 when he seized power.

The regime receives $750 million in U.S. Taxpayers' money annually according to The Washington Post.

The U.S. also trained Uganda's brutal military (involved in massacres and mass rapes), including its senior officers like Gen. Museveni's son, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba who commands the notorious special forces brigade and is being groomed to succeed his father.

Gen. Museveni has used U.S. money and training to entrench his regime in power and commit crimes against Ugandan civilians in all parts of the country.

Some of the most notorious massacres have been committed in Kasese, Corner Kilak, Mukura (where victims were roasted alive in railway wagons), Karamoja, and in Buganda over the Kayunja-crisis. No part of the country has been spared.

Kasese was the most recent mass killing by the regime; it was denounced by Amnesty International, the public and members of Parliament

"A Brilliant Genocide" focuses on the largely unreported crimes committed first by the Ugandan army (first as the National Resistance Army or NRA and later as the Uganda People's Defense Force, or UPDF) against civilians in the northern part of Uganda, including the Acholi people.

The "KONY2012" viral video exposed the atrocities committed by Joseph Kony and his notorious Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) to the world (murders, rapes, mutilations and the abduction of children who were turned into sex slaves and child soldiers). "A Brilliant Genocide" now exposes how U.S.-tax payer funded Museveni regime exploited the LRA atrocities as cover to carry out his own under the guise of suppressing the insurgency.

These crimes by Ugandan soldiers under Gen. Museveni's orders (as revealed by his senior officers interviewed in "A Brilliant Genocide") include: summary executions; rape of women and men resulting in the spread of HIV/Aids; mutilations of victims; and, burying people alive in large pits which were then covered with earth and grass and set on fire to roast the victims.

In some cases, these atrocities were committed by U.S. trained officers and soldiers carrying U.S. supplied weapons.

"A Brilliant Genocide" exposes how Gen. Museveni ordered his army to evict the 2 million population in Acholi region from their homes and confine them in concentration camps lacking sufficient food, water, sanitation and medical services where as a result of these conditions the World Health Organization (WHO) reported there were over 1,000 excess deaths (beyond normal mortality) per week as a result.

Women and girls were victims of sexual assault by UPDF soldiers and LRA fighters. The camps were in existence for 20 years and going by the WHO estimate nearly 1 million people may have perished.

Gen. Museveni has even exported his militarism to neighboring Rwanda, South Sudan and Congo as a Google such will confirm. As a result of atrocities carried out in Congo by his army in 2005 the International Court of Justice ordered his regime to pay $10 billion in reparations which he has refused to pay.

According to a June 8, 2006 article in The Wall Street Journal, the International Criminal Court  (ICC) also launched an investigation into the Congo crimes and that Museveni urged then U.N. Secretary General Koffi Anan to block it.

How can U.S.-tax payers' dollars continue to finance this mass killer?

Dear U.S. President, I demand that:

1. The U.S. immediately cut off arms supplies and any military and non-humanitarian support for Gen. Yoweri Museveni's regime.

2. That the U.S. take steps to ensure that the perpetrators of crimes committed by the Museveni regime, including Gen. Museveni himself, face justice, just as the U.S. has demanded that Joseph Kony and his associates face justice.

3. That the U.S. use diplomatic pressure and sanctions to force the Ugandan government to compensate victims of all atrocities committed by Museveni’s regime, including the killing of relatives and loss of property such as land and livestock throughout Uganda.
