Australia Day Tasting - Dublin 2017

The Australia Day Tasting is the largest annual trade tasting of Australian wine outside Australia - and it keeps on growing.

Following a successful event in Dublin in 2016, we’re delighted to be back again in January 2017, with even more wines, exhibitors and winemakers.

With a geographical size similar to Europe and distinct climates, soils and terroirs, it’s no surprise that Australia boasts an array of wine styles, flavours and grape varieties.

To help you explore the diversity of Australian wine, we have over 250 wines to taste, covering over 50 different regions. We hope you’ll enjoy making new discoveries as well as trying the latest vintages of old favourites.

The tasting is enhanced by a focus table, ensuring that you have a full and exciting day of immersion into Australian wine. For the first time, the wines on this year’s focus table are chosen by you, not the exhibitors. Taste wines handpicked by members of the Irish wine trade who have recently visited Australia – these are the wines that inspired them the most.
