Kiddo App 4+

My wife and I’ve always wanted to get a babysitter to help out here & there when family can’t, however have kept putting it off as were daunted about the process of finding someone you could trust in the area. I was blown away how after just making a quick online inquiry with Kiddo I almost immediately received a call about how it all works and quality / checks all the babysitters have gone through to get on the platform. Then I went through the list of babysitters available on the platform in my local area and was impressed with not just the number of options, but the level of experience and detailed background it provided on each of them. We have been very impressed with the quality and professionalism of the babysitter we have used twice now via Kiddo (shout out to Lucinda!), and will definitely be using the app again in the near future (potentially this weekend as may be celebrating some close friends’ engagement 🥳). We usually rely on grandparents to babysit but with 3 small kids it gets too much for them to be on call. So the time came for getting a paid nanny/babysitter. My big problem- I trust very few people with my kids. I looked at babysitting agencies but didn’t get a great vibe. It seemed like they were doing the same screening that I would and were too expensive.
I decided to give Kiddo a go and have been extremely happy! I won’t lie, I was a little nervous to start with but I looked through a lot of profiles, booked a sitter that I thought would be good with kids and be safe with and got to know her before I left the kids.
We were lucky enough to find an amazing sitter that we continue to exclusively use.
The best part of the app is that we know that the sitter’s details are recorded, they’re screened, the terms of the booking are clearly outlined and we don’t have to worry about exchanging money, etc.
I can’t recommend this app enough!!
