Make a difference and serve on MLK Day! The Hampton Roads Church, working with the City of Portsmouth, is delighted to serve the residents of Southside Hampton Roads by hosting a community cleanup on MLK Day 2024.
The City of Portsmouth works to lead our community to reduce litter, recycle right, and beautify Portsmouth through education and volunteerism. These efforts help support clean, safe, and resilient neighborhoods.
Monday January 15, 2024, will mark the 29th anniversary of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. national day of service. This holiday was established to honor the life and legacy of Dr. King, and to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities.
